In 2007, 62 percent of U.S. bankruptcies occurred in the wake of medical illness, and 77 percent of those in medical bankruptcy had health insurance (usually private insurance) when they first got sick.

- I have lived in Colorado all my life, which has ingrained a deep love for the outdoors, and the silence of the mountains. I was an elite cyclist and trained year around for six years. I enjoyed my time in the saddle, but was too tempted by what I was passing though, so now I am onto the rest of my exploration of the world. Where this will lead, I do not know.
