Are there rules in the kitchen?
I have noticed recently that heb it comes to cooking my tastebuds rarely scream "NO!" to the concoctions that my mind invents. Now this can turn out ugly, like some of the strange color shakes I have blended after hard rides. They usually contained more veggies than a usuall smoothy, and maybe even some protein powder and any nuts lying around. But sometimes this invention catalyst works out well. Today for example I prepared a Summer Cajun Turkey Sandwich. Sunflower Market 9 Grain Bread
Pesto
Stone Ground Mustard
Boar's Head Cajun Spiced Turkey
Peperjack Cheese
Ripe Alvocado
Swiss Chard from the garden
Sliced Strawberries I was skeptical when I made it this morning but it turned out to have just the right combinatuon of spice, sweetness and smoothness. All in all a big throughly satisfying combination for such a small sandwich. From some horrible processed food comercial back-in-the-day, "Be bold, Be daring!". And maybe give it a shot in your kitchen or throw in your own twist next time.
